Location: Cheshunt

Salary: £26,050 per annum (raising to £26,550 when FLT trained)

Working Hours: 40 Hours per week. Monday to Friday, 08:00am 17:00, including a 1 hour lunch break. 

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in warehouse operations? We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team to provide an outstanding service to customers through efficient loading and unloading, picking and packing of stock and ensure the highest cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the warehouse. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that good in are put away accurately and paperwork procedures are followed. 
• Assemble and double-check customer orders for accurate loading onto vehicles
• Repair any damaged boxes to minimize waste and breakage.
• Ensure all food products are safe, legal, and meet our high-quality standards.
• Perform cleaning duties as per company schedules.
• Maintain a tidy and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Use a forklift (if trained) to transport goods safely.
• Assist with monthly stocktakes and weekly van cleaning.
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Provide fast, friendly service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collect cheques from customers, ensuring they are properly filled out.
• Ensure all delivery equipment is prepared and loaded.
• Maintain regular communication with the operations teams for updates and issue resolution.

• Physically able to comfortably carry heavy loads, within guidelines
• A counter balance forklift licence is desirable
• Highly motivated with a positive, can-do, and flexible attitude
• Able to work with speed and urgency, whilst maintaining safety
