Patisserie Consultant (Pastry Chef Consultant)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30pm.
About the Role:
As a Patisserie Consultant, you will enhance Salvo 1968’s brand as a leader in patisserie and specialty flour by driving product development, customer engagement, and promoting exclusive ingredients like Casillo bakery flours in the UK. Acting as a subject-matter expert, the Consultant will collaborate with Salvo and Casillo to support clients in product innovation and menu design, helping them create unique offerings that build brand loyalty and differentiate them in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Innovation: Develop new products aligned with market trends, partner with marketing on launches, and focus on Italian-inspired innovations.
- Customer Engagement & Menu Development: Build strong client relationships, assist with menu design and costing, and present product demonstrations.
- Brand Representation & Marketing Collaboration: Act as a brand ambassador, create content for social channels, and collaborate with marketing to position Salvo’s offerings.
- Product Expertise & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training, educate clients on Italian patisserie, and provide practical guidance to enhance client offerings.
- Field Strategy & Customer Planning: Plan client visits to maximize engagement, promote digital ordering, and respond to customer feedback for continuous improvement.
About You:
- Expertise in Patisserie: Proven background in Italian pastry techniques and product development.
- Innovation Skills: Ability to take ideas from concept to launch with a focus on authenticity and seasonal trends.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with experience in client relationship management.
- Commercial Acumen: Knowledge of CRM systems and sales strategies with a customer-centered approach.
- Organisational & Communication Skills: Highly organized with excellent time management, negotiation, and selling skills.
- Passion for Italian Cuisine: A genuine enthusiasm for Italian food, ideally with experience in a patisserie-focused chef or production role.
